Amazon.com - an Internet discount book store; offers search capabilities on Author, Subject and Title; has an option (called Eyes) for users to receive email notices when new books with certain keywords in the title or by a certain author are released for publication; best to order several books at a time to reduce shipping and handling costs per book.
BiblioFind - a web site that allows you to search through a database of "four million old, used and rare books offered for sale by 1500 booksellers around the world".
Books On-Line - a searchable database of book texts available on the Internet.
Crown Books - the discount book store's web site; good for comparing prices with Amazon.com
(As of 12/6/97 their search facility was not available yet. But in it's place there is a page on which you may register to be notified by email when it's available.)
